Financial Independence: A Women's Workshop for Success 

The Women's Network Changing The Odds committee is hosting it's bi-annual seminar on Saturday, May 11 at the The First Baptist Church (location sponsor), from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The seminar is for women who are interested in gaining knowledge around, or improving, their financial wellness; the seminar includes community professionals that will help provide clarity and support around topics such as creating a budget, credit and banking, and navigating student scholarships and loans. Registration is free and includes breakfast, lunch, door prizes and resource bags supplied and supported by organizations across Columbia. The Women's Network Changing The Odds committee is designed to help women within the community who are looking for ways to improve their job prospects. These bi-annual career development seminars equip these women with the skills and tools needed to take the next step in their career journey.
