Landing the Job Seminar

A free seminar for women! Changing the Odds is a free program provided by the Women’s Network, a division of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. The seminar provides guidance and hands-on coaching for women entering the workforce for the first time or re-entering the workforce after an absence. Throughout the day, our speakers will prepare participants for all aspects of the job seeking process, including:

• Identifying marketable skills using the DISC assessment
• Job searching and networking
• Writing a resume
• Interviewing skills
• Dressing for success at the interview and on the job

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our in-person capacity for this event is very limited this year. However, participants may also join virtually via the Zoom platform.
